Welcome to Linaker Primary School and to our new website!

It is an honour and privilege to welcome you as Headteacher of Linaker Primary and Nursery School. Whether this is the first time you have heard about us or whether you have known of us for many years, I hope that you will enjoy this snapshot of how together we flourish and grow. Our family of Linaker goes back many, many years and we constantly look forward to the future which you may be a part of.

Linaker is a school that exists for its community and we strongly believe that working together we can flourish and grow in all that we do. We want our children to believe in themselves and develop the values we hold dear to us to enable them to have high expectations to succeed in life. We want each member of our community to FLOURISH. With this common belief in one another and the gifts we all collectively bring, this aspiration is truly possible.

Through our FLOURISH curriculum, we endeavour to inspire that all important love of learning and develop curiosity and creativity. Staff are dedicated and have the same eagerness and enthusiasm to try new ideas alongside successful approaches. Pupils’ behaviour is of a high standard and they strive to show respect and compassion at all times. They place their trust in all around them and show resilience throughout difficult times and situations which allows them to flourish that little bit more each time.
